As part of our ongoing efforts to provide you with the most efficient and accurate
service in recording and filing documents with the Ocean County Clerkâs Office
I am pleased to announce the establishment of our e-Record Service Level One,
and now offering, Level Two.
To help you avoid delays, eliminate errors, and speed-up the recording and
filing of your documents, I urge you to utilize this service. Level One of
our e-Record system enables authorized users to sign on to a secure system,
enter document specific information such as party, parcel and reference,
calculate fees via a system guided calculation, select payment option
(check or escrow account), and print a Document Summary Sheet to attach
to the original document for mail and recording.
Level Two of our e-Record System enables authorized users to take
advantage of all of the features of the e-Record portal in addition to allowing you to
complete your recording transaction in a total electronic-paper free process.
In the near future, ACH Banking (Automatic Clearing House) will be available for
both Level One and Level Two.
There is no fee to use this new and innovative method of recording.
All you need is a computer and an internet connection. The ultimate goal
is to allow total electronic recording of real property documents.
